Need Help with game back ups

hello all, I am new to back ups and i need some advice, I have a dell inspiron 531 with a dvd+_drive and would like to know what all do i need to create my back ups Hardware and software as well as where to get it from. Any help would be appreciated.....

I am also new to this arena. Fairly computer literate and have a newish (6 months) elite 360 with a 120 HDD. I am interested in how to play backups. According to some photos online of drive trays I have a Philips drive, but it was an old photo so who knows. Also I read to check for a wire color under the faceplate but saw no wire.

Is there a good source for disassembling, flashing new drives with the current level of tech (I've heard about the recent bannings)

I would love any help for references to help. Thanks
