Well...I am just wondering how you could delete the $systemupdate$ that comes with the ISO...This has been giving me some trouble already...I just play the game Samurai Shodown Zen and then I was prompted for an update, which I did but it seems that there is no way for me to delete the systemupdate that comes with it...This is ok if you don't have a jtagged console but what about if you do? You will ruin your console if you update...SO I need a better way to delete the systemupdate within the ISO. Hope somebody could help.

use Xbox Backup Creator to extract the ISO into folder form and then delete the system update folder

Then that answer means No, it's not for JTAG. If you remove the system update from the ISO, I don't think the box will boot it (depending on your firmware). A JTAG will boot it though.

I am sure it will and it just works similarly as what Wii does.

This was never answered. Can you at this time, extract an iso, remove the system update folder, and then rebuild the iso to burn to a disc and boot properly?

No, it won't. And this has been asked/answered years ago.

If someone could simply remove the system update folder and then burn the iso then why in the world would people have gone through all the trouble of wave patching?

Only on a jtag can you remove the system update folder and still play the game.

Period.
