Ok im about to try the cut traces method, is there any really good guides that i can follow step by step.

i will tell you what i do that is different from the jungle flasher tut, instead of cutting the v about the pad, i go back and cut 2 straight lines then jump a wire across that area, i just found that that was easier for me, and made repair a little more stable. but the only guide i could ever find was the JF guide.
