hello, I'm thinking bout modding my 2360, quick question, i know you can stealth patch the 360 game, but if i do mod my 360, wont my console get banned? don't they have some way of detecting that you r 360 is modified?

Yes, you take that risk when you modify your Xbox 360 in any way. You can however reduce the chance of getting banned by correctly backing up and stealth patching your games.

Among other things such as not playing games online before the release date. Again, you are taking the risk, this process reduces the chances of being banned.

well it's common sense to avoid playing a game not released yet online, i mean who's really that dumb, all i need now is how to modify or hack my xbox, i cant seem to find the right guide for it.

Common sense isn't so common my friend, their are idiots out there who have been this. Now as far as modifying your Xbox, what are your intentions, do you want to play just backups or what?

yea i want to play back ups, i also want to play some games i own for ps3 but i want to play the 360 version cuz the controller is more comfortable and better. quick question, is there a way for the xbox to load from an external hard drive like the wii can?

If your looking to play just backups, I recommend getting your Xbox flashed with the latest firmware. Which drive do you have on your Xbox? As far as playing from a external HDD, someone else with experience probably could answer that.

When you are able to look at your Xbox, let us know what wires you see when you take off the faceplate. That way we can better assist you.

yea, so i've read and watch a ton a videos on how to modify a xbox, and they were all pretty old, like 2 years old. is the way now still to open it up and flash to dvd drive, any way to do it through usb? or am i going to have to open it

I'm sure you will have to open it, if your not familiar with flashing drives then I would recommend taking it to a professional and have them do it, that way you won't destroy your xbox.

i am familiar with the site, but i wasn't able to find where the services are, and i saw the dvd drives that could play back up for the 360, could i just buy of those and replace my drive or would Microsoft detect that and get me banned?

Thats the site where I sent mine off to. They do offer a replacement drive, but I don't think it actually goes into your xbox. You take a orginal xbox360 game and that drive rips it to your computer, then you burn the game to a DVD+R DL disk. The difference between that drive and a Kreon drive is the SSV2. Kreon doesn't recognize SSV2 while ripping. But you still need to get your xbox flashed.

As long as you don't have the BenQ, then use the LT Lite Touch firmware.
