Hello all!

As the title states, I'll be modding my first xbox360 tomorrow using an x360PRO, CK3Pro and a Probe 3. After reading a few posts on here, I came to the conclusion that I picked up the wrong media (picked up dvd-r 4gb disks), so tomorrow I will be hitting up BB again to pick up some Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5gb disks. All in all I -think- I am set for media/hardware. My questions are as follows:

1. I bought my xbox around the first part of 2010. The manu date is Sep 09. I have -never- had it hooked up to live (I could care less about xboxlive, and I will never use it.). Do I have to update my console to a later version to use the IX LT+? I don't remember the version number, and right now it's in pieces in the other room waiting to be modded.

2. Is the media I am about to pick up the absolute best for the job? The Verbatim DVD+R DL? I want to make sure I have all my eggs in one basket before starting my mod job.

3. Is it necessary to use a stealth patch on my games, considering my xbox will never be hooked up to the internet?

Any help with these questions would be an absolute godsend! I appreciate your time and expertise!

1) follow the 2 PDFs below to update your firmware to LT+1.1. If you are not going to play Xbox Live then you only need to update your dashboard to 2.0.12625.0 with the usb updater listed below.

2) Yes Verbatim DVD+R DL are the best you can get for burning Xbox 360 backups

3) Even you your not going to play Xbox Live yes it is necessay and a good habit to stealth all backups with abgx. Incase one day you change your mint and want to play Xbox Live

From what you said, it's looks like I have to put my 360 back together to update the dashboard :( I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do that, and could just flash the LT+ fw to my lite-on. Ugh!
