I just bought GOW 3 and couldn't wait to play it! When I put the game in it went through a system update then the screen said that update couldn't be complete and gave me status code 3080-335A-B800-0402-C000-016B and code 3080-335A-B800-0402-C005-3002 with a message to contact X-box!Of course I didn't since it is modded! And after Modern Warfare 2 kinda of expect something like this! Since my flash is iXtreme 1.50 (I know its older) was wondering what was going on? Is it an easy fix? And how do I get my xbox unlocked and able to play GOW 3? I tried an older game which didn't work and tried to start up with out a disc in to cancel the update, which didn't work (hence the 2 different codes.) I have been buying the regular games since flash 1.51 was needed and xbox creator wouldn't even burn newer games with out a patch after guitar hero metallica came out! I know since then those issues have been fixed but didn't have a problem with new games till now! I even stayed off X-box live because of MW 2 incident!

And just in case someone says I used the GOW 3 back-up I just bought the game last night and it is not the back up! I have never flashed before so if that is the fix then I need links to where to learn how! Thanks again!

your drive was flashed back to stock when you updated your system,if you read you will see that you should have flashed your drive back to stock first.Then after you updated your system,flash your drive to iextreme 1.91.also plenty of people have been posting that their systems have been getting stuck or hung up in the update,while updating their systems.

Then why won't it play the original if it went back to stock? Plus it won't start up! it just sits at the update so how can I flash it if it won't start up?

Just talked to the guy that sold me the x-box (since he fixes them for 20) and he told me that GOW 3 fried my nand and he can't fix it! he is also steering me to the jtag since I don't get on-line or the new glitch when it is up and running!

The guy you are going to is an idiot. The nand is fine and he is a noob. If you don't have a dump of the OFW you are screwed. You cannot jtag that console, you can only do the reset glitch to get the key. Hopefully you have the OFW. Simply reflash to LT 1.9.1 with your key and you will be back in business.

I know I can't jtag the console, he told me I had to buy another console! and he was the one that originally flashed the drive so for me doing it would take time and the right guidance on how to! plus read the jungle flasher guide and it said best if done with win xp 32 bit and I have win 7 64 bit on my pc! of which couldn't get xbox creator to run on!

and he said nand was bad bcs the console goes straight to the update screen once booted up and won't let me do anything!
