LOL, if you have a flashed drive and Live tries to update your system why wouldnt you look online first to do some research and see if it's safe ??
you guys kill me :P
We have known this was going to happen for WEEKS.

ah, I see thanks for both those updates, makes sense. I'll hold off, guess I gotta trust my gut w/ LA Noire then, lol. Either that or gamefaqs :P
sum1 already had stevedawg and stevedawg85 is longer than 10 chars :(

So, like how long does it usually take for the new firmware or whatever it is to come out.
I am sorry for not know much about modding the 360 a friend does mine for me and he is waiting for the FW and whatever else is needed before he does anything and I am just curious as to how long it will take.
Also If I have the internet cable in my 360 but don't update can that cause them to flag me for a ban? =/
Damn Sorry for all the edits but is there any way I can play some DLC on my console that doesn't have the License without installing the update and signing in to XBL to transfer the content?
I wear Sun Glasses at night so I can.. I can err..

i updated my hitachi drive and it's not reflashed the firmware.

the firmware seems finished because LT + 2.0 for 0225 has been completed and tested on a 9504 drive meaning that C4Eva is probably waiting till all the spring updates finish before he releases it.

I haven't played on xbox live in ages so I don't care about waiting for the new firmware. Could anyone confirm that the new update adds AP2.5 to all games?

From everything i've read in many places, it seems that all older hitachi drives are still able to play backups after the update.

False - from what I gather anyway. Not to ALL games.
But we'll have to wait and see
