Ok so first up I didn't do a search for existing threads so if this has been covered or mentioned before, go ahead and flame the hell out of me.

I have however been visiting the forum daily and have skimmed the thread titles on the front page for news. So far, nothing.

So what's the deal? Has anyone heard anything? I know that Team xecuter has a whole heap of them, but I'm amazed I haven't even heard of eny attempts to dump the key at this stage.

From what I've heard it is a new model Lite-on, but is it dumpable yet? The only thing stopping me from picking one up is whether I can flash it.

Also curious to hear of how easy it is to open the hard drive caddy. I've heard that with the way then new hard drive is set up it is easy to plug in a non-enclosed drive, anyone able to confirm?

Judging by how long it has taken in the past, it will be a good while before there is a hacked firmware for this drive...if there is one that is ever released, that is.
I don't believe there is a thing in the world that cannot be hacked...the question is, how much time is it going to take to accomplish a hack, and then create a method that is capable of being replicated by the general populace.
