Hello,

I have one of the july 2009 drives and I been seeing all of these bans which prompted me to flash back to original. Is it possible to flash back to original firmware on these newer drives?

with that manufacturing date you have a liteon dvd drive. No Liteon drive has the capability of havings its original firmware restored. once you mod you cannot go back to stock.

Check at Wal-Mart to see if you can find the $100 gift card deal. I thought I missed it and then realized it is actually active until the 13th. I called around to local Wal-Marts and found one that had 1 arcade left it stock. Grabbed it.

Not bad deal at all. $100 for a new jasper 360.

actually got it from walmart with that gift card deal and thinking of exchanging it. Tell them some bs story that its no longer working for me.
