The month of May started with a huge surprise for many Xbox 360 owners, Microsoft today has started banning Xbox 360 consoles of gamers with Flashed Xbox, Gamer score, modded avatars, infections on COD4, infections On World at war and Infections on MW2.
So in your Xbox 360 has been flagged for any of the above or similar activities, it will be banned for sure.
Looks like Microsoft has started banning people again so be careful in the next days might be related to AP 2.5 and the upcoming Dash update.
I could be wrong but i doubt consoles are being flagged from system link based infections in the call of duty games. My guess would be that this just relates to gdp based modding/infection in those games, if at all.
I'd love to get the last laugh at all the 10th prestige lobby peeps getting banned but unfortunately there are quite a few that unknowingly joined and that would kinda suck...

I'm sure the forums will be flooded with countless posts of people complaining that they got hit with the banhammer when it happens. I'm still good, but am playing on an old xenon console with a samsung drive flashed with LT (only firmware other than stock that has been on the drive). Nobody is safe playing backups anymore. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I get banned. I don't play games on it that I haven't physically backed up on my 0800 drive. I'm sure that I'll still get banned once the hammer hits since I do play on live. If not, then great!

im sure if you joined randomely a prestige 10 lobby by chance xbox live wouldnt ban you

Makes sense, if you found game through searching for one rather than being invited you would probably be safe.
