My XB360 has iXtreme LT v1.1 on it.
I'm paranoid, so i haven't yet used XBLA... I got the mod cos i didn't wanna pay exorbitant prices for games (here in S.Africa, it's about $90 for a new game, and still $40-$50 for a game that's a few months old)

Question:
If i only use XBLA without ever having a disc in the drive (like downloading XBLA games etc) is it ever possible to get banned.

Question:
Is there really nobody who's got banned so far using LT v1.1? Do you know of anyone who's got banned?

Thanks (...to anyone who bothers to give a proper answer)

Anytime you connect to xbox live with a modded console, you're taking a risk. So far, no mass bannings for LT usage...which is usually the way bannings are gauged. If one person gets banned, that's not really considered overwhelming proof it has anything to do with something specific about a modification. If there are patterns in bannings, we can deduce what is causing the bannings.

My advice, stay off of live for now and play your console offline...buy a console for online use if you really want to. I know that's pricey, but that cost is offset by the money you save through games. Otherwise, assume the risk...one day you more than likely will be banned...then buy a new console then.

"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."
