Let me first start off by saying that this console was supposed to have the RROD error, and well, when I checked it it did not have the RROD error. Only would show the middle Green Power Light and nothing else.
HOWEVER.
I am a bit new to the Xbox360 scene but not to taking consoles apart and fixing them. So, I decided to go ahead and open up the console and perform the Xclamp Fix because well, better safe than sorry I always say.
So, now that this is out of the way, I went to turn on the console and I am greeted with ONLY the middle Power light.
Now, the console was doing this before I installed the new bolts for the XClamp Fix.
What I'm trying to figure out is whether or not this is a good or bad thing. After Leaving the console powered on for (INSERT TIME HERE) it will shut itself off. 4:56:30
I have tried getting an error code from the console by pressing the Sync and Eject button at the same time, however, no code is flashed.
So now that you know the symptoms, my question would be; Shouldn't the console be greeting me with the (For lack of a better phrase) Spinning Green Ring Of Welcome? Again, I am new to the proper operation of the Xbox console, but well, I'm just a bit confused without AV Cables to see if everything is working right.
Hope someone can help me with this obscure question.
I don't have a day off very often, so if it comes down to (like I am doing right now) Troubleshooting without an AV Cable, then, thats what I've gotta do.
