I read a post on a blog that said a guy had his Xbox 360 banned for using iXtreme FW, then he purchased a 360 (didn't mod the new system) and used the Hard Drive from the banned 360 and the new non-modded 360 was banned? Can anyone confirm this is possible?

only way this would have been possible was if it was a gamer tag ban. i've been using the same HD that i bought with my console when they first came out. been banned twice, definitely not due to the HD (2 years between bannings).

I figured the dude reporting this was full of crap. Thanks for the confirming it! I wonder if he purchased a 360 that someone returned that was banned?

I can't believe that M$ isn't purchasing the banned systems and reselling them. If close to 1 million people got banned they could make MAD PROFIT by unbanning and selling them AGAIN!

i had a xbox back from MS it had never been switched on the first time i turned it on it was BANNED and was unmodded i'm still fighting with m$ to get it unbanned B********S W*******S
