hi folks,
i have a modded xbox for the last year and it never was a problem cause i never got into the online gaming thing. now tho ive finally come to my sences. a mate told me that you cant use any modded xbox online anymore even with original copy games so im happy enuf to buy a second console for just online use. im abit confussed tho as to how its all gona work. take for example all the cars ive made on my backup copy of forza 3. culd i use my original 20 gig hd on my new un modded system and use all my saved stuff and points from my backup games online or will microsoft see that the stuff was created on a modded xbox and ban me??? also on a lighter note, can you copy the saved data on one hd, say a 20 gig, onto a new bigger hd, eg 160 gig??? and if so how?? thanks in advance!!!

Well, it all depends on things... see, if your previous console was banned, and you put the hard drive onto a new console, anything you played on the old console won't work on the new one. It'll be "corrupted" so you have to hook the hard drive up to a computer, and go through each game and edit some of the data.

If it wasn't banned, then i don't see what the problem would be.

And yes, you can transfer things onto other hard drives, mircosoft has a transfer kit that moves everything onto a new hard drive for you.
