I haven't been online in over 6 months. My Xbox isn't flagged (used the network test trick) and I'm wanting to get back on Live without worry of bans. Is it possible to restore my Samsung M28 to original firmware and go legit with it? I don't have the original firmware file any more, but I was wondering if there's anywhere to find it... or even if this seems like a bad idea from the get-go?

You will need to dump the firmware that is on the drive right now. It contains your DVDkey. Once you have the DVDkey, apply the DVDkey to stock firmware and flash back.
