like the title says.
i bought an arcade console last week and it´s date of manufacture is oct 09,and the dash board is an 2008 version 7.xxxxx.
i thought all consoles after september 2009 had the latest dashboards installed.
i dont want to open it yet to see which liteon it has.
but if it has on 08 dash does anyone think it will have one of the older liteon drives?

I'd double check the serial number on the dash vs. the number on the back of the case.

If it has the 7.xxx dash, don't worry about the drive. You should think more about jtag. Either jtag it or sell it as jtag-able. That old dash is worth a bunch of cash.

How much are they worth I haven't seen any for sale with Jtaggable as description I have a Jasper with the old dash

Scan ebay to get an idea. Search xbox 360 jtag there.

Here on AD in the sell forum, I sold a brand new jtag, complete, for $275.

i just double checked serial number has 942.
which means 2009 42nd week also in the manufacture date
and was a 7xxxxx dash
but i have already updated on live (DOH!!!)
never mind i bought it to go back on live anyway.
im going to wait a while before i flash it with LT
hopefully its one of the first two liteon drives in there.
im not to sure about cutting the traces on the pcb.
also has anyone used the teamx lt switch?
that looks like the better option rather than messing around with wires,resistors and switches.
its probaly around the same price for the lt switch and you just have to solder the switch in place after you have cut the traces.
it can also stay on the pcb after you have flashed.
this is what i have read but have not tried it yet.
any advice would be a great help.
