OK...copying game to HD

It seems there is an issue with the disc read error on NHL 10 that wont' enable you to copy it to the HD. It fails after 20%.

I tried both a real copy and a rip. Both failed.

Is there a way I can copy to the harddrive without using the xbox dashboard?

E.G. copy the rip to my hard drive via my pc?
