So i bought a rrod elite off of ebay cause i have gotten really good at fixing 360s. I fixed the rrod and have had no problems with it. Until a few weeks ago the dvd drive crapped out. No big deal i thought so i researched how to replace it. Instead of spoofing a drive i went the easier method of swapping pcb boards. But that didn't work. Both drives are hitatchi-lg's, but one was 79fk rom and the other was 78. So i swapped back boards cause i fixed the second xbox the other drive came from but now neither drive will work. So just curious to what i might have messed up and if can still spoof a new drive to work.

If you can dump the keys from the drives then you can always flash the key to another drive and spoof the new one.
