I'm going to get a Kreon Drive to back up 360 games. I don't care about stealthing my games since I'm not getting online with it. So that doesn't matter to me like others. My two questions are....is the Kreon drive somewhat future proof. Will it do future games like Fallout:New Vegas and Gears of War 3? Or will it or could it not? Also, I've been reading and I did read the sticky thread but couldn't find it. I can't exactly figure out what software to use to actually RIP the 360 games with the Kreon drive. I know how to burn them. Can anyone point me to the right direction? That would be great. Thank you for your time and patience. I may have over looked these two questions but I did look and Google them but maybe there's a new software that rips the games?

I finally found a working link to Xbox Backup Creator. So I assume I got that. Will that work on future games as well? Thank you again.

Suppose it doesn't matter if he's not going online. Kreons do fit nicely in to your PC as well :D

Plus he can always inject SSv2 into the image, it just takes a bit more effort to find the SSv2 file on ABGX.
"All drives should be updated to Lite Touch + (LT+) firmware if playing on XBOX live. Samsung drives and pre-78/79 Hitachi drives do not utilize AP 2.5. All other drives are considered to be detectable by Microsoft (YMMV). Make sure all rips are ABGX verified, contain SSv2, and patched AP2.5 (where needed). XGD3 must currently be burned on new drive with PC Burner Max firmware for 100% rip. All modded consoles can be potentially unsafe for use on XBOX live."

Do I need the Ssv2 file in the image. All I know about the Ssv2 is the xbox drive will reread the disc image and double check its the right angle for that game. So if I want to burn a Ssv2 game but will only do Ssv1 will the game look funky? I'm not going to play online with this xbox. As far as I know this wont matter at all and the game will look just like the original copy.

To be honest, if your now going online, you can safely ignore the whole SSv2 stuff. Its only so you dont get banned, the disks will still play fine.

Well, I guess I do have one more question...which firmware should I do for my BenQ drive. LT 1.1, iXtreme 1.6 or 1.61. Which one will most likely play Wave 7 games?

LT 1.1 supports all games.

Jungle Flasher 1.61? I think you meant iXtreme 1.61, but he can just as easily use LT 1.1. It will take him all of 1 minute to download it and put it in Jungle Flasher's Firmware folder. But if you're not going online, it doesn't matter.

Instead of the $30 he would charge, just spend an extras $10 bucks to get a connectivity kit and sata card and do it yourself.
Check your PMs.
