hi, i have an x box 360. it keeps saying open tray.i have read the forums on how to fix the problem.but i have just replaced the laser.same one.the problem is still the same.open tray. any ideas jhaye2x

Are you running the new dash, and if so, is your benq spoofed as a different drive? If so, that could be your problem. If not, you could try to get your hands on a new benq from ebay ($15-$25 shipped) and inject your key into it. That should rule out any other problems. Are you 100% positive that the drive has the right dvd key? In other words, have you been able to play 360 game discs on it (burned or originals)? I'm just trying to break it down to find a solution for you. There are many knowledgeable members on here. We'll get an answer for you sooner or later.

hi ,i got it sorted.i unsolder ed the antistatic ball on the laser.apparently when you purchase one the antistatic ball has to be removed. cheers everyone for the help. jhaye2x
