Got a 360 that can read dvd movies but 1 out of 20 read games, when i take the cover off and i hold the magnet it reads 1 out of 5 times. My question is, whats the best way to fix it? I try moving the screw on the right side and i cleaned the drive and added new grease where it was needed but no luck. drive is a dg - 16d2s

search for the pot tweak tutorial (for the liteon, the left pot is the dvd pot). just decrease the resistance until more discs boot. i had to reduce my pot from 6 to 4.5! to read all the discs (arita's are very hard to read apparantly. other discs starting to read fine from around 4.9-5.2.

if all fails, go buy yourself a cheap laser replacement on ebay.

When you say, you have moved the screw on the right side. That sounds you have attempted the POT Calibration tweak. I have never had to do this for a lite on drive, only hitachi's.

It maybe that your laser is dying or you are using crappy media.

Thjis xbox is not modded, and I did mess with the right screw idk how is called lol maybe POT but yeah is the little one on the right side on the lens, got to do something with he worm motor bc part of the white pastic sits on it for the worm to move it
