yesterday i flashed my friends 360,its a 7 series lite on,played games for a day then started ejecting discs,would not let em spin,tray no longer closes and yes it boots to dash no problem.tried swapping drives with one from my jtag but nothing changed.whats interesting is it looks like his drive works as i tested it on my 360 and read games with no issues.i am really confused now as i dont know what to do.i hope there is a solution to this

Open tray is always either the laser or crappy discs. If you aren't using verbs, you need to. If you are, the laser is weak. If regular discs work, then it's the media most likely.

i use verbs.so its safe to assume there is nothing wrong with the mboard?.still i dont get why the drive works fine with no ejects on my jtag. oh yeah it cant play original discs either. thanks man
