pad wont take solder on motherboard

i have been trying to prep my xbox for dumping my nand
to uncripple it.
i set up my cabel first then when it was time to start on the motherboard i had a quick look at the points i had to solder and noticed that one of them didnt have the silver pad.
i tried to solder that point first and it just wont take.
i dont want to try to many times and put that point under any more stress.
ive tried cleaning it down, tinned the tip of my iron fluxed my wire and the point but it just falls off when i try to marry the wire and the point together.

any help would be great.

i have also hooked up the other six wires to all of there points with no problems at all

i have found out that the point i was trying to solder "J1D2.6" is a ground point and difficult to solder if this point wont take you can use the J2B1.12 point as a ground.or you can solder the wire to one of the copper screw holes on the motherboard.
i am going to try this tomorrow ill post my results.

yea for any ground wires just put the wire in a screw hole and metal on the surrounding the hole you will be fine. This forum is also not good for these types of mods and triple posting is frowned upon.
