Patching Wave 4 to Wave 2 makes game graphic crappy?

I have old Lite-on drive requires USB Xtrator hardware, and frankly I didnt really want to spend money on Xbox that I cant even go on Live with.

I am currently using iXtreme 1.5 and already banned from Live, so I was just using wave patcher to patch the Wave 4 games to Wave 2 video partion.

First of all, its good that I can run the game at least.

However, I have noticed the game graphic looks very down graded. I would have to assume that it is becuz I exchanged video partition, but I was not sure.

Does everyone who exchanged the vp have the same problem?
