hey i'm new at this and just wanted to know will I get banned if I patch the games from wave 4 to wave 3? I dont have my internet pluged in my xbox so is that ok to play them that way or will I still get banned from live?

Why would you do this? Why are you guys so impatient? There will be firmware for your drive out soon. There is absolutely NO REASON to patch. YES you will get banned.

Burn the activate.iso instead of patching the game until updated firmware comes out.

If you have a BenQ or Samsung then the firmware is already available for you to update.

im in the same boat here, but i dont understand why you would get banned even if the internet plug is out, does it leave sorten files that microsoft can detect and bann you for, after you take out the game and reconnect to xbox live or something?-thanks
