I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because I've flashed this drive a few times before using my Connectivity Kit with no problems. My PC freezes when I turn on the connectivity kit. I tried uninstalling the VIA card and reinstalling it with the same result. I tried removing the drivers and checking the VIA ports Only box and it also freezes. I know I'm probably overlooking a step here so please feel free to point me in the right direction. Thanks! =)

You have to remove the via windows drivers and reside 100% on JF to do the work. Search on removing or disable via drivers.

go back to remove the drivers and besure you disable the option to get drivers automatically. When your removing them it is putting them back. However a friend of mine had this issue and we just waited a moment or five and eventually is unfreezes.

then you didn't disable the driver. Does device manager have a yellow explanation by the driver? If it doesn't, you did it wrong.

If you can't seem to get jungleflasher to work you can always do what I do. I prefer myself to use iprep for flashing. Use jungleflasher to create your bin file (because iprep doesn't support the lastest firmware)and then use iprep to flash. It's DOS based so no freezing.
Just a thought, if you continue to get stuck and want to try something different.

You can't use iprep on liteon drives or the MRA hack. Iprep is no longer a good method but does work on older drives. Anyone that can't use Jungle Flasher is an idiot. It's the easiest program to use. It only and I mean only freezes when the drivers are not setup properly.

Yes I know you can not use iprep for liteons. The heading says he needs help with a BenQ otherwise I would not have suggested it. From what I am reading of his problem, he already has the key since he's been able to flash this drive before. Using jungleflasher is easy, I agree, but if your PC keeps freezing why not try another method that also works. No need to call people names.

I think what you meant was "exclamation" not explanation =) and yes, the VIA card has a yellow exclamation mark on it. I did get it to work eventually. I physically removed the VIA card and installed it in another slot. Then installed the drivers and then removed them. That did the trick. Thanks for trying to help guys.
