I am a newb, I have a question I hope you can answer.I bought a new Philips- Lite on drive DG-16D2s to replace the same one in my X360, it looks like the only difference is the FW version. My new one is 74850c, my old one is an earlier version. My question is can I transfer the old PCB board to the new drive & not have to flash or spoof or anything to make the new drive work with games ? Thank you in advance for your swift answers!!!!

I believe yes.
I'm told that as long as the drives are physically identical, you can swap.

Actually 74850c is the first version. the later ones are 84xxx & 94xxx.

If you old drive is not a 74850c then do not attempt to swap the PCB's (Circuit Boards) or you will fry your drive.
