Play backup DLC?

If I downloaded Backup DLC off of the piratebay or whatever torrent site how would I go about putting it on my Xbox 360?

Well, first thing I wouldn't mention sites like that, not like we've never heard of such places... think it's against the rules to refer to activity such as that, but I might be wrong.

But is your 360 jtag'd? If so, you can use a connectivity kit, or take a 360 HDD out of it's shell and hook it up to your PC with sata cables and such. (there are tuts explaining this in greater detail)

You can use xport or xplorer360 application to browse the 360's hdd connected to your PC in Windows XP/vista/etc. Then you drop the backup DLC numbered folder into the HDD partition 3, under the content/000000.. folder. (there are also tuts and youtube vids showing this)

If your xbox doesn't have jtag, I think you are out of luck, besides buying the dlc through xboxlive.

It is not aginst rules to say this. doing is against law but we all know no one on this site does this he is mearly asking a theoretical question if he were to do so would it work.

To answer the questions only one a Jtagged console and you can't play it on xbox live. there is a workaround for the non-jtag boxes but it requires friends that trust you a whole lot and you trust a whole hell of a lot as well. But also you can't connect to live with this method. LAN play only or just play by yourself.

non-drm DLC can simply be installed using a USB drive. Such as the first two borderlands DLC and I believe the fable dlc and fallout 3 DLC.

Exactly. People have ripped them from the disc and posted them online. I am sure theoretically you can go to one of those websites and download it.

you can't Download any other DLC except the ones on disks and expect them to install properly on a FLASHED box to play as you want it has to do with the signing of the code being specific to the HDD and even sometimes the Xbox itself. Only the ones on disks can be done this way no others...period...no exeption unless you use my other method which is a whole lot not worth it unless you don't plan on doing it permenantly.

You don't have to burn them to a disc though. You can simply put them on a USB drive.

that will work yes i am just saying that those DLC that are originally on disks can be done this way.
