I burnt Streetfighter 4 on some bulkpaq dual layer disc (2.4x)
360 is latest hitachi 79fl drive soft modded (12x speed).

now when i see the intro movie the disc seems to struggle to play them movie (jerking).
but ingame its fine. is this becuase the discs arent any good or should I have used "verbatims" for faster read speeds

Try installing it to the hard drive.

i had that probelm on ghostbusters the game did my head in . i reflashed my liteon to 1.5.1 from 1.6repack and dont have them probelms no more

also my street fighter works ok on both 1.6 and 1.5.1

Yeah, installing to the hard drive should solve it in the short term. In the long term, make sure you pick up verbatims. They only cost about a buck a disc, which is alot less than that $60 you put into the original.
