playing a backed up 360 game online with no mod chip?

I want to start backing up games I own and be able to play online with them without being banned. Can xbox people find out your playing a backed up game online even if your not using a mod chip? I've looked around for this anwser but can't really find a yes or no. I mostly read about people getting banned from useing a mod chip.

Google "flashing your xbox 360 drive". Playing backups online is never 100% safe, odds are you will eventually get caught and banned. It is possible to play them online, but you put yourself at risk.

so long as your careful with the originals there is no reason for you to use backups when "online" so long as it's installed to hdd instead flash dvd drive & your away, i only go online to get content tho when i have gamed i use originals basicly i follow my own advice most of the time *muttley laugh*

The only reason i wanted to backup games is so my son and i can play the same game online without buying another one. We have 2 xboxes at our house. So there's no way to make a exact backup of the game so it appeared to be the original?

Get a CK3 Pro from a team xecuter reseller, a BENQ VAD6038 from ebay and then you can backup legal games with that. With playing backup games on LIVE theres always the risk of being even with the LT+ firmware flashed to the DVD Drive
