well i have been following on xboxhacker.org on how they have discovered a way to read the keys off the new slim with a program called Tarablinda,,i thought well id give it a try,,so i followed the tut,and low and behold i got the keys from the drive,,first shot,i grabbed one of my 7000 series drives and flashed the keys with LT,didnt even have to spoof,,stuck the drive back in and games on,,all my backups work,,so for those who are impatient like me,and if you have the right hardware,and software,it can be done,http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=15629.100,,have fun,,

I thought that they were implementing new checks for the slim models.... That's why the team is coming out with LT+ for the slims. I hope you don't get banned with that new xbox. Keep us updated, and let us know if you make it past the 4th of November.

no i not going on line with this,,i just had time to play so i gave the hack a shot,,never thought it would this easy to get the keys off the drive and not have to do anything special,,and just to run backups on the slim is great for the back room,,

1. Downloaded and unpacked your program to a folder on my desktop called "XBOX SLIM"
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=40NWA8ZZ
2. Connected my Xbox 360 slim drive to my computer via SATA and used the xbox to power the drive.
3. Ran iPrep to find the 4 digit address of the DVD drive.
4. ran command prompt and cd into my XBOX SLIM folder
5. Typed the command: "Tarablinda_v04b.exe 0170 dump" and hit enter
microsoft after a ban wave

will do,just couldnt get over how easy it was to get the keys,,just plugged in the drive and hit enter,,

As of right now, No. Full firmware dumps via SATA. DG16D4S fw: 0225 support should be coming according to c4eva.

So there's no soldering and what not with the new slim drives?
nothing,not even open the the drive half way,,just turn it on,prop the command and the program does the rest,,even makes a dummy file for you,

i was hoping i didnt have that firmware when i opened it,,tarablinda will not work with this firmware,,
