Hi there,
I am new to soldering could some one tell what type of flux I need to do this?
This is what it says:-
Xecuter LT Switch - Installation
This is where you will install the Xecuter LT Switch. Simply solder the 6 points to the DVD Controller Board. Make sure you use flux to get a nice flowing connection

I haven't bought Flux in a while because you don't use much of it. Just go to a store like radio shack and get some. Ive used the same flux now of tons of things, it just makes the solder stick to metal better. Thinning your tip with solder helps to.
can you give me a example of what flux to get please a link or some think because when i am looking there are loads of different ones, and where do i put it once i have it?

All electronic solder reels come with flux inside the lead (by name only) solder, you won't need anything additional to that, other than a good tipped soldering iron, and a damp sponge to clean the tip when it gets dirty, the flux burns out, and covers in tip in a black burnt flux crust.
Example in UK is here, as you see it's non-lead, and comes with non corrosive flux, you'd need the smallest length reel they do, I'll last for years.
