First off Im using CK3 Pro with CK3 probe and i have a lite-on drive.
I'm using an onboard Sata port, I have .net framework 3.5 and have installed portIO32 driver. And I have uninstalled Sata driver in device manager. Iam using Jungle Flasher v0.1.64 Beta and trying to update a stock lite-on to ixtreme 1.6.

First try using Jungle flasher I got all the way to where you erase the drive and then the computer froze. Once i restarted the computer and turned on the CK3 again the computer started lagging. So I uninstalled the sata driver in device manager which resulted in no more lagging. then i opened JF and it would not even detect my drive anymore or any Sata ports. I have no clue what to do now and need help. Any help would be great. Thanks.

If you are using onboard SATA, what driver did you uninstall?

You did get your DVDkey correct?

were you able to hit the erase button before it locked up the first time on you? if so, you will probably have to use dosflash to recover the drive and finish flashing it. there are a couple of tutorials out there on how to do this.

Your drive is half erased. The only way to finish the erase is in DOS.
You need to make a bootable usb drive with L-O-Eras on it boot into dos run L-O-Eras which will finish the erase. Once done return to JF.

Like the other user stated, you will need to make a bootable USB drive. I have a tutorial linked in my signature on how to make one. Then you will need to put 2 files on it from the DosFlash16 folder (v1.7) dosflash.exe and dosflash.typ. Also you will need your custom ix1.6 bin on the USB drive too.

Boot to USB drive and type dosflash.exe. It should see your Lite-ON (MXIC or Winbond/NEX). Choose the corresponding SATA port. Select W for write and type the name of your custom firmware bin. Example Lite_CFW.bin

It is iXtreme firmware that has your DVD key and drive specific info.

Does your BIOS support a boot menu? Usually F12.

If not you will need to get into the BIOS (Ususally F2 or Del), and change the boot order to USB (Removable Device) first.
