Is it possible to unban my Xbox with this chip? http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/hb-360-icta
Do I need any other chips installed? Do I need to know the CPU key of an unbanned Xbox? Do I need to know the CPU key of MY Xbox? Just give me a quick run-through with it like some pros and cons. I'm a newbie at modchips.

That piece has to be added soldered to the Infectus modchip. The Infectus can supposedly unban a box.
My guess is that you'd have to:
1) Solder the Infectus to an unbanned box, to get the unbanned NAND.
2) De-solder and then re-solder the Infectus to the banned box, to flash the unbanned NAND to it.
Then you're left with to boxes that share the same NAND (not being able to access Live at the same time), so what's the point?

When were you banned? If you were banned before the August update, you may be able to flash the NAND with the JTAG hack. Check with "jpizzle", he'd know.

I was caught in the recent ban wave. My Xbox has been RRoDing lately. Did the penny and towel trick, and it seems to be holding up. I would rather not trade with him for that reason and because I don't think he would like me to flash his.

You won't be able to do it since you were banned recently and have the 08/09 update.
So you wouldn't be able to load xell and edit the kv info and the same might be true for your friends system if he's played any wave 4 games that have the update.

Well for starters try to get your xbox reflowed or at least x clamped so you will have it for more than a couple days without rrod

Well it worked for a couple weeks after I did the penny trick, which was like a couple weeks ago.

the other point is that you can grab good NANDs from dead boxes. Those dead boxes don't need their unbanned identities anymore - so grab the good NAND from a dead worthless box and slap it into your banned box. BAM.

This is completely wrong and inaccurate. To "unban" a banned console you would need to be able to edit the kv which you can't do with a banned system unless you already had your cpu key.
