I got 3 Xbox360s in the house. Two Lite-On, one BenQ. All are iXtreme 1.6 flashed. One of the Lite-On drives gets a "can't read disc" error. This same drive fails to copy discs to the HDD all too often. I think a POT calibration will do it justice. The other 2 drives work flawlessly.

The calibration guide I found is 3 years old, and only for Sammies.

What I'm looking for is optimal calibration settings for all drives used with Verbatims, (it being the media of choice).

Anyway is there a POT calibration guide out there, that is more recent, and covers all drives? Or could some of you guys post the settings you've been successful with, and I'll make an up to date guide.

There are a few handful of guys on here that I'm pretty sure can supply all the info needed, accurately, (you know who you are).

POT calibration is pretty much the same on all drives (certainly the method is the same) just the placement is different.

How about you try it and write a guide for everyone else looking! :-)

That's what I want to do, but I only own Lite-on & BenQ drives. I'm looking for contributing info on the "best" settings for each drive.

I don't think there is a best setting, it's try it and see for each drive really, the trick I guess is keeping the resistance as high as possible while getting rid of the disc read issues, which helps the life of the laser.
