Hi All,

Recently my little brother got the RROD. I offered to lend him my box (going strong for 6 years). Stupid me didn't bring my powerbrick and thought to just use his existing one. Surely enough I caught the RROD and now we both have the dreaded RROD. I am assuming the powerbrick is causing these boxes to RROD(maybe a short or not enough power? idk). Has anyone every heard of this happening before? Is there a fix? I am devastated atm..(sigh)..

did you modify the connector on the power brick or 360 to get it to fit? What's the secondary error code?

I've never seen one without a secondary code. I don't mean on the screen though, I mean hold down the sync button and push eject 4 times which will give you 4 different numbers to help diagnose the issue. I have had power bricks cause the RRoD before but it was when using a power supply that wasn't giving enough power that was modified to fit the plug
