I'm new to the forums but not to the site. I want to say that everyone in the forums is super helpful, thank you to all the vets out there.
Here's my issue. i've tried to burn a back up of an xbox 360 game and i've tried numerous configurations in imgburn. the popular opinion is set your layer break, use 2.4x verbatim from singapore, burn at 2.4x sometimes 4x, burn your .dvd file. I have done all of these things and a lot more. I've gotten literally every error imgburn contains I think. I've just spent $20 in verbatim coasters and no burnt games. It did run through successfully one time, but that was by not setting the layer break manually. it didn't play in my xbox 360 though.
i've read crap loads of forums and everyone just says use verbatim, update firmware for drive, use different speed, & get new drive. my drive is fine and fully updated. i have no problem backing up wii games at all so i'm thinking it has something to do with layer break. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
Also the game is downloaded and has been run through ABGX360 and passed everything with no problems.
Here is the latest log i got under the settings i mentioned above.

You might try upgrading your DVD burners firmware. Looks like your TS-H653N has the 0609 firmware. There is a new firmware update available for it. That is the HB02 firmware. You can find the firmware here: TS-H653N firmware
Thanks for taking the time to help me out. i've tried the HB02 update before and it says it is not compatable with my drive. i also ran the HP Update tool. i'm guessing that they made different versions of this drive or something. If they didn't I don't know why it would not install. Again, thanks for the help. I'm pulling out my hair here.
