i am really sorry if im posting in the wrong page. my problem is I bought an xbox 360 for my son and all the (special) games works ok. i bought the console off ebay with the wink and you know the wink. I was was very impressed impressed with the graphics then decided to buy another for me but half of the games dont work on mine (yes it plays back ups) i am a complete noob on xboxes i can do wiis and psp no bother but this xbox lark is totally twisting my melons mans:P any help would be well appreciated. p.s ran it through xbox wav converter and still says wrong region????????????????

I'm guessing the second xbox you bought has an older firmware installed. You will need to flash the latest firmware to play the newer wave games. Either that or you need the activate.iso boot disc.

i tried that activate iso and it just said to use this disc insert it in an xbox 360 or something (when it was in the console). thing is i dont know what firmware is on it or anything. and im not to clever at opening things up. say i do have old firmware on and needed newer one on would the console have to be opened up or can you do it thru discs or memory card seen as its already modified? thanks

If the activate.iso disc doesnt work, there is no way of updating the firmware other than flashing it via your PC.
If you dont know how to do this there are many many tuorials how, or if you feel that you dont have the skill to do so, then contact someone who does know how to do it for you or see if the guy you bought it from will update it.

theres a shop that does it near me for £35 bit steep if its as easy as a wii or a psp but i dont want to be opening it up and checking drives and stuff. thanks anyhooo ;)
