I've tried to burn 3. wave games with no luck. Here are my specs:
BENQ VAD6038 in the Xbox 360
Brand new Ixtreme 1.6
Verbatim DVD+R DL from Taiwan
Burned on TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-S082H ATA Device
using ImgBurn vers. 2.4.4.0
- speed tried: 2x and 4x
I've followed a guide, so the settings should be spot on.
When I pop the game in the xbox, it only says "open tray". I've tried burning several different titles, all result in same problem.
Older titles (2. wave) still work.
Any ideas?!

Have you set the layerbreak correctly? Post a log from ImgBurn and we can see how it's looking.
Try searching, its fun.

good, sounds like you've done some research, got a good setup.
You running windows? Have you tried using clonecd?
Also, one other thing to try (before burning more copies), is take a copy that you've already burnt that you're getting errors on. Put it in your computer, and have abgx scan the cd (not files on your computer, but select the option to point it at your dvd drive and have it scan the burned game). Does it still pass all the checks?

I've tried clonecd. That's what I've been using before (2. wave games) I got the box updated to ixtreme 1.6. Tried burning a copy, and after some reserch I've also tried imgburn.
I've really been searching a lot, really can't find out what's going wrong.

Do you have level 3 autofix?
Also, looking at that, it doesn't look like it passes stealth checks.
Make sure you have your abgx setup with all the settings that I have here: http://www.stateofthesceneaddress.com/wi..._To_Use_ABGX360
Paste the log back in. Make sure you have level 3 set, and that it DOES check online for verification. Because it looks like your values aren't matching up for the game.

It's possible, but he does say that he has flashed it with ixtreme 1.6, so he should be good.
OP - at the same time, do you have any friends that have a flashed 360?
If so, try a wave 3 game that works for sure on their console, and test it out on yours.

My download manager has been acting up, could it maybe have corrupted the rip? I'll post the new abgx360 log when it's done.
