im not a big gamer, but i really want to buy a xbox 360 for just this one game, so i was just wondering what the purpose of the hard drives is because i was thinking about buying just the basic one, so just making sure

The hdd is basically just to save games, updates etc. If you're only playing one game you don't really need a hard drive, just the memory stick that comes with the arcade. I would recommend just buying the arcade (basic)... you can always buy a $20 20gb hard drive off ebay if you need the space in the future.
