Question about banned Nov 2009 xbox.

I recently got banned from XBL and I plan to get a new one which will remain unmodded in any way shape or form. I already know that my profile will be corrupt on the new console and that I wont be able to install.
However, I need to know first:
1) Can I transfer the license from the old console to the new one?
2) Can I delete the profile of my HDD, recover it on the good console and will all my saves work?
3) Use my 512mb MC on the old unit with a new offline profile (I only loose saves for five games so no big issue), but can I still use that MC when I go to my friends to carry my good profile?

just take your current HD and put it on the new console.

I do plan to, but the profiles by default will show up as corrupt requiring me to restore them but I am unsure about the other questions.

no no no. only the console that has been banned cannot install games to the HD. your GT and game saves are fine. read through the huge thread you should have seen when you should have ran your search for this since its still on the first page.

I heard about this phenomonon on different forums so excuse my ignorance, I am yet to try it on a different console so I am rellying on the words of others at the moment.

k, well your gamertag and game saves are fine. just cant use that console to install games to the HD anymore.

As of a few month back this was true but recent banned consoles now also lose the function to install games to the hd and your profile and saved games are corrupt, you can recover your gamer tag on an unbanned console and be just fine ( tested this my self ) but all your save data is gone forever.

What program do you use to backup your drives? I have not had any luck with any LOL.
