Question about converting wave 6 to wave or 3 and SSF4

Hey sicdude. I'm having an issue. I got the SSF4 iso (super street fighter 4 yesterday and can't get it to play on my friends old firmware. I think it's 1.51... I try to install that spanish or whatever language that 360wavepatcher is and it never installs. I have windows vista, and I don't see what it wont install. It gets to the 2nd check on the installation screen but then gives me this random error message and only thing I can understand is INSTALL.ZIP. SSF4 seems to be wave 6 and I want to convert it to wave 3, can you help me please? thanks

I just can't seem to understand why it doesn't get past the 2nd checkmark when it's installing and gives me that error. Did anyone convert this iso and get it to work?

If it won't install try and extract all the files to a folder then you see another packed file called __WDINST inside that file there is a folder called mes projets inside that you will find a waves patcher.exe just move it to where all of your other files are and it should run fine

I use 1.61 which doesn't require patching but i do patch games for friends and every one i've done has worked perfectly ;)

Oh and remember to use the edit button rather than double posting as it's against forum rules.

Ok it seems to have installed. Would you kindly guide me through the process to convert this wave 6 iso to wave 3 or wave 2? And have you actually tested the SSF4 iso for any of your friends after using this program?

Run it through abgx first cos you may need to create the .dvd file, then follow this guide

sweet... which wave did you convert ssf4 to? Also I have the .dvd file already and when I tried to open that up it wouldn't open it seems, but when I opened up the iso file it loaded the iso. So I just simple select wave 2 and patch? Also which wave did you convert it to in order for it to work on your friend's 360?

when you put ssf4 into the patcher... Did it say the current wave is wave 4? cause it's wave 6 in reality unless it just doesn't have wave 5 and 6 so it says wave 4 instead.

hey even when it says pfi is incorrect based on this date it should be at least wave 4 etc... is that still correct? This is what abgx says after I patched it. Just double checking.

Don't run the iso through abgx after patching as it will try and fix the iso, it's ok to run the disc through though and yes that is normal.

Hey guys,
I read a comment from someone that he updated his dashboard with the latest one in order to play SSF4 and he claimed that his machine was banned even though It wasn't connected to the Internet at all. He said this happened because he has old Ixtreme firmware and the update is able to detect old firmware. Is this true or did he just make this shiet up?
