Is it possible to run the DLC off an external HDD? I have games running off that but would be nice if DLC could as well.

I belive so, put it in the usb0:/content/0000000000000000 folder and try it.

no it is not possible right now as the Game and the TU will be looking for the DLC in one specific place on your MS HDD(hdd1). I heard that someone is making an app for this but not sure how far along it is. Your XBLA games can go in the folder that Mike said (usb0:/content/0000000000000000) if you are using FSD they will be automatically detected, not if your using NXE though.
