Question About Lite-On Flashing

I flashed my BenQ drive with ease and now I'm trying to flash my Liteon drive.

I have the 7xxx drive and all the tutorials say I require a CK3 kit with probe. Is there a way to make my own probe to save money? I do not own a connectivity kit, will I need to buy one?

What other hardware will I need other then a VIA PCI chip to flash my Liteon?

u could make your own probe for under 5 bucks,there is a tutorial on here search for it and its best to get connectivity kit,if you gonna be doing constant flashing

Agree 100%, if you are going to be doing a few drives its best to get the connectivity kit but for the odd 1 or 2 drives now and again, the home made probe Here does the job nicely.
