Question about patching SSV2

Is patching a game with SSV2 as safe for XBL as ripping the game with the 0800 firmware?

I have a rather large collection of games, and I would rather patch them than re-rip them all. But only if the end product of the two methods is exactly the same.


Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Well.. Put it like this.

SSv2 + 0800Firmware = 50% Safe for Live.
SSV2 without the 0800 FW is practically useless
Same with no patching and just the 0800 FW.

You need to use both to get maximum chance that you wont get banned

Good question! I would take anyone's reply to this with a grain of salt as it has yet to be clarified by C4eva the only person who would really know.

so far this is whats known:

SSV2 + 0800 = best
SSV1 + 0800 = best
SSV1 (wave3+up) + Kreon = Unsafe
SSV1 (wave1+2)+ Kreon = ok but not best
Kreon patched to SSV2 = Who knows?
