Question about playing downloaded DLC on a modded xbox 360

Hi everyone, nice to be back on these forums after such a long time :D.
I tried searching around but couldn't find much information and I need a bit of help about the following situation.
I have a certain DLC downloaded that I want to play on my modded 360. Unfortunately my brother modded the 360, and I know limited information about it. All I know is that its version is 1.6 and any burned CDs that I play on it must be on wave 2. Give this info, does anyone know how I can play DLC on my 360? Help is much appreciated, thanks.
Edit: I know of the JTAG method, which looks extremely complex for someone who isn't handy... it's been a while since this method has been out, so I was wondering if there's an easier way to work around this (preferably with USB)

Unfortunately, you have to have a JTAG console to play DLC if you downloaded it from the net. JTAG and a flashed drive are 2 completely different modifications. You can't play unsigned code on a 360 without it being JTAG'd AFAIK.

There's absolutely no way around a JTAG? For a guy like me JTAGing my 360 is pretty much impossible. There's really no other way around this? I would've figured that by now someone had figured something out... guess not.
I suppose that this means no DLC for me :/

Buy a Jtag or get someone to do the Jtag for you.

Yeah, I sincerely doubt there's anyone trustworthy around my vicinity that can do that. And buying a jtag just to play dlc is >_>.
I guess there's no other way then

everything on this thread you have been told is correct and very helpful.
there is no work around and you said you looked before you posted but obviously not very hard.

I find it amusing that somebody comes on here asking for help, then starts bashing people on here that are only trying to help him out in the first place. "NO" is a great and blunt answer to his question. If he wanted an explanation of why, he could have searched and found out for himself. I try to ignore posts like this, but if anyone is a troll, it's luckcandy. Good job man, pat yourself on the back because you just lost respect from at least 4 members on these forums.

They have given you an answer deal. As for not wanting to pay for it buy a jtag or learn. If your so worried about being banned from live why is the xbox modded to begin with? If you don't want to be banned then be legit and buy it. if you just want DLC for free and don't play live then get a jtag. if you want to play DLC for free and play on live then figure it out yourself because it can not be done as of yet....deal with the answer or go home.
Mods are like games.....GO BIG OR GO HOME!!

If you had a brain, you would know that you are at just as much risk buying DLC on live as you are just playing on live with a modded xbox.

I don't understand why you freaked out all of sudden. There is no in depth answer to your question. No is the only answer. No ifs... No ands... No buts... That's it. Quit crying because you have to jtag or buy the dlc. If you don't like the answer you were given go somewhere else and quit ruining this forum by freaking out like half the losers here do.
