My friend told me that with the latest games like Assassin's Creed III, Halo 4, etc. We are asked to update our Xbox 360 and only then can we play these games. My question is will this update remove my flash. I had updated it a few months ago and the flash was not removed. However I am aware that some updates remove your flash and then you have to re-flash your console, something I'd like to avoid. So my question is will this latest pdate remove my flash?

There was only 1 time about 3 updates ago that it flashed back to stock. You are all good with current update as already mentioned
Unless the notes in the changes, specifically, say it's going to re-flash, it will not re-flash. There's only been one update that has re-flashed XBoxs, so it's a rarity.
