Hey guys just a quick question. I flashed my Liteon to 1.6 back in November after the ban wave. My question is would I be safe to go online flashing to LT? I never went online when I flashed my firmware only when it was in its stock firmware. One more thing do I have to go back to stock firmware to go to LT? Thanks.

It is highly recommended you flash back to stock firmware and then go on Live to apply all the updates. Once you have done that, you can update to LT firmware.

If you are on stock firmware while you get the updates, why would you get flagged?

The issue previously with modified firmware was the behavior of the drive which in essence makes the 360 detectable. With iX LT, it is said to mimic the responses of stock firmware.

There is ALWAYS a risk when you go online with modified firmware.

I've heard that going back to stock firmware could still set off a flag. I may have read wrong. But lets say to be safe I could update using a USB stick after I flashed back to Stock?

It is recommended my C4eva and Team Jungle to have your XBOX 360 receive all the Live updates before flashing to iX LT. If there is any kind of check when updating, it would be wise to have stock firmware on the drive.

I'm not sure if you can obtain the latest update from Microsoft or not. If you can, I believe you can update via USB stick or CD.
