Hi,

i was using 1.51 on my BENQ drive but since i wanted to play a wave 4 backup i made , i updated my firmware to 1.61.

Once flashed to 1.61 ( tried it several times to make sure flash was successfull), nothing works. I can't play wave 4, nor wave 3 and previous... only original games work.

I tried reflashing to 1.51, with same results. i restored original file, then reflashed, same results again.

Original games work, but no backups work.

Any clues?

I am now flashing with a floppy disk that boots to dos, then i run dosflash from my usb key to flash...

your drive laser is probably going bad. If it reads originals and you know its the hacked firmware then it has to be your laser.

why dont you try jungleflasher?? its way easier

i have restored original BENOFW file , plays originals perfectly... but if i try reflashing to 1.51, my xbox wont read original nor backups.

weird....?!

if anyone has a clue, please let me know.

ive tried making a 1.51 firmware with Jungleflasher, and put it in my iprep USB .. didnt work.

(cant use jungleflasher all way thru, i dont have any sata wires except the one from my HD... i know its a shame...)

PS: i'm using Blaster 360...
