I have been toying around with my jtag trying to find the best cooling combination and in doing so I have taken my x-clamps off a couple of times. I am slightly concerned that since taking them off a couple of times, I have lost some of the tension in them.

I am thinking of removing them and replacing with screw/bolts instead. However, everyone and their brother has a different method of doing this, how much spacing is needed, how much torque to apply, and what size and thread Screws/bolts to use.

Has anyone here done this? Think it would be a good idea for me to do this? Any good tut's out there? I have a xenon board and my setup has no dvd drive.

Just buy a washer kit for about $5 from Amazon, here.

Lite-On 74850, Ben-Q 64930, Hitachi 47DJ, Samsung MS28.
